Board of Directors
Our current Board of Directors is a representative mix of the Victor community, including retail, hospitality and service businesses, consultants, healthcare, education, advertising, marketing, legal, accounting and payroll and banking services.
Brad Pearson is the President of Victor Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Brad Pearson is an Executive Director with the Rochester Regional Health Foundations. His focus is on planned giving in support of the Health System. Prior to starting his career as a non-profit administrator, Brad served in the United States Air Force. Brad is a graduate of SUNY Geneseo and St. John Fisher College. He lives in Victor with his wife Jennifer and their two sons.
John Miller is Vice President of the Victor Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
John joined O’Connell Electric Company as Marketing Manager in 2013 after serving on Active Duty in the Air Force and finishing his four-year degree at Keuka College in Organizational Communication. His primary responsibilities include website optimization, marketing communications, photography, and managing brand standards for the company’s five offices across NY State. He continues to serve in the NY Air National Guard as an Emergency Management Journeyman with the rank of Technical Sergeant. John is also a committee member for the Mary Parkes Asthma Center Golf Tournament Committee, a board member for the Junior Builders Exchange of Rochester, a member of the Rochester’s Finest Planning Committee, an annual fundraising event hosted by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Rochester, and a member of the Rochester Chamber Future Leadership Advisory Council. In 2017, John received the Top Performer Award for raising the most funds as a Rochester’s Finest Honoree. John and his wife, Kara, enjoy living in the Village of Victor with their two children.
David Lyttle serves as the Treasurer of the Victor Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. David is a Managing Partner and the Chief Financial Officer for Dixon Schwabl Advertising. David has over 20 years of financial management experience leading small and medium size entrepreneurial ventures. While leading the financial and HR functions at Dixon Schwabl since 2004, the organization has been named to FORTUNE Magazine’s Top 25 Best Small Companies to Work for in America since 2005 and was ranked #1 in 2008 and 2010. Alan Lockwood serves as the Secretary to the Victor Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Alan is an attorney with Boylan Code, LLC in Rochester. John Wadsworth is a Vice-President at the Bank of the Finger Lakes, a unit of USNY Bank, providing Commercial and Agricultural loans. He has been in banking since 2003. Previously he provided web site services to Dairy related companies and Holstein breeders and also operated a Registered Holstein dairy farm for 25 years in Livingston and Yates Counties. John is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and resides in Bloomfield with his partner, Cathy. John and Cathy have 6 children and 8 grandchildren. Laura is a Benefits Consultant with American Portfolios and has been in the Insurance Industry for over 20 years. Laura graduated from SUNY Brockport with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. In addition to serving on the Victor Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Laura is on the Board for LDA Life & Learning Services. Laura and her partner Tim, reside in Bristol.
Mrs. Kristin Swann is the Associate Superintendent of the Victor Central School District where her primary focus is on improving student achievement and ensuring that students’ social and emotional needs are met. In order to accomplish this, she is improving access to quality educational opportunities for all students. Throughout her career, Mrs. Swann has maintained a relentless focus on helping student succeed. Kristin has obtained degrees from Nazareth College and RIT and has over 20 years experience in public education. She lives in Fairport with her husband Mike and their two sons, Michael and Matthew.
Bob Bennett manages Homewood Suites in Victor and lends his extensive tourism background to the chamber. Patti Zimmer is the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua. Patti has over 15 years’ HR experience in small to mid-sized companies in the Rochester area, and at FLCC, she has developed many professional development programs for new employees, managers and supervisors, and student employees. Patti has a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Geneseo and a Master’s degree from RIT. She lives in Mendon with her husband Bob and their youngest son Jeffrey.
Mike Roeder is the General Manager and Director of Golf Operations at Ravenwood Golf Club.
Mike has been with Ravenwood since 2003. Prior to Ravenwood Mike was the Director of Golf at Bristol Harbour Resort. Mike was part of a group to start the Finger Lakes Golf Trail in 2004 bringing in many golfers from outside our area for multi-day golf trips. Mike also holds the position of Chairman of the Finger Lakes Visitors Connection board for the past 6 years and has been involved with local tourism for the past 15 years. Mike is also a 25 year member of the PGA of America.
Kathy has more than a decade of public relations and event-planning experience. As vice president of special events, she concepts and coordinates large-scale events and promotions for numerous clients, including Daystar, Highland Hospital, Rochester Spinal Association, Wilmot Cancer Institute, Allendale Columbia and Thompson Health. Active in the Rochester community, Kathy has volunteered for nonprofit initiatives with the Women’s Foundation of Genesee Valley, American Heart Association, United Way and the Victor Chamber of Commerce, among others. She also served as a PRSA board member and is a recipient of the PRSA Rising Star award. In 2017, Kathy was also a Forty Under 40 honoree.
